June 5, 2025 | From City of New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS – The City of New Orleans today reminds all landlords of one-to-three-unit rental properties operating in Orleans Parish to apply for the Healthy Homes Certificate of Compliance by June 15. Certification is a requirement of the Healthy Homes Ordinance for all rental properties.
How to Apply:
The easiest and quickest way to apply is by completing the digital application via the OneStopApp. For those unable to access OneStop, applicants may apply in-person at 1340 Poydras, Suite 800 during 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Please be advised:
The June 15 deadline falls on a Sunday. The last day for in-person or telephone assistance before the deadline is Friday, June 13.
This is the final deadline for the phased rollout of the Healthy Homes program. All applications received after June 15 are subject to a $50 late application fee. At the conclusion of this deadline, all rental dwellings in Orleans Parish should be registered, and the Healthy Homes Administration will shift from registration activity to enforcement.
